In collaboration with Martin Hernandez, a distinguished Mexican Maestro rotulador with over 40 years of experience, we've created the unique "Migrant” Font alongside the art for our “Napkins of Rights” project.
Hernandez thinks of migration as a tree rooted in the earth that needs to be uprooted and moved to another place. With that in mind he created a distinctive hand-drawn font where every element of the typography have characteristics simulating a leaf falling off a tree – creating a trail that tells a story of every immigrant’s journey of sacrifice, leaving their homes to seek a better future.
The Migrant Font has been digitized for future use in all FLIC campaigns and is now available for purchase and download. By acquiring this font, you'll not only be supporting this effort but also contributing to the preservation and amplification of these important stories.
